Jason's Deli is my family's go-to lunch or dinner. The food is always good and the staff is always nice. This location is also always clean, which is a big deal to me. Their salad bar is the best and is always fresh and stocked.

Today was my first time at a Jason's Deli! I tend to eat low carb, so other people who eat that way had mentioned how great the salad bar is. We got there right at 11 and there were only a few tables of people. By 11:30 though, it was packed out!
I got my little guy a gluten free grilled cheese with the fresh fruit as his side. I got the salad bar. My friend got a custom sandwich. The kids grilled cheese looked pretty good! It's only $0.49 to upgrade to gluten free bread which is really nice. The salad bar was good. Wish it was labeled because I couldn't differentiate between some of the options. Their ranch was really good. My friend's sandwich was wrong, but they didn't seem to mind correcting it for her. Overall it was alright. I'm excited to try the Fishers location at some point.
I do like that they steer clear of all of the junk found in food today. They have signs around the restaurant that tell you what they keep out of all of their food. Pretty cool! -

I grew up with Jason's in Houston and it's always been a favorite of mine. I was really excited that they came to Indy and have been to both the 82nd and Fishers locations many times. My visit today at 82nd was just blah though. The cashier had zero personality and no one really seemed to be enthusiastic at all. I get that it's work, but smile a little. The tile walls behind the line need a serious scrub down and the vent hoods are grimy. Only 2 people were in uniform and wearing a hat - the rest had street clothes on and no hair restraints. One girl behind the counter had an earbud in and was listening to music. I just didn't feel welcome whatsoever....Plus it was dead silent in there.
I ordered a gluten free muffaletta (my favorite sandwich there) and usually get two whole gf pieces of bread to make a sandwich since there is no real way to make a 1/4 out of gf sandwich bread. This time I got 1/2 a sandwich, or 1 single piece of bread. It seemed like I got a kids meal. The sad thing is I'm pretty sure with the upcharge for the gf bread it would have been cheaper for me to get a kids meal. I was advised that the meat and cheese were "pre-portioned" so even though I didn't get two pieces of bread, I still should have gotten the same amount of protein... and it wasn't the same. Oh well. I doubled down on the free ice cream to make up for it.
To add to our less than welcome feeling, we got no thank you or anything when we left. It's not like they were busy either. The majority of the time the staff was standing around when they should have been cleaning.
My muffaletta was the bomb though. I'll go back but I'm gonna get two pieces of bread if it kills me. -

The corned beef and pastrami saved this review from a one star. Apparently $10/hour doesn't get you employees that you can understand or have any clue about serving customers. Just horrible and argumentative and clearly would rather be on their phones.
This location has deteriorated to the point of nearly no customers. Sad....as i like Jason's Deli. -

It's nice to have a healthier, quick option when shopping on the north side of Indy, however, Jason's continues to disappoint me. Salads are pretty bland and uncreative-they don't even look pretty when they come out. Sandwiches are dry and crunchy. I always end up paying way more than seems appropriate for simple deli foods and wondering why I come back. After my most recent trip, I think I can finally remind myself that I really don't like it here and hit up the other nearby chain deli options instead.
